ROSEMARY BUTLER gained popularity as a back-up singer alongside Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Paul McCartney, Carole King, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Kenny Loggins, Whitney Houston, Ray Charles, and many other A-listers. Blessed with a four-octave mezzo-soprano range, her vocal expertise is a technical marvel. Rosemary was the contractor and co-conductor of the 100 Voice Choir featured on Neil Young’s Living with War album and movie, and the Super Bowl pre-game show with Glenn Frey, President Clinton’s Inauguration, and The Grammys have all been graced by her voice.
She began her career as a performer singer, and bass player in an all-girl Orange County-based band called The Ladybirds that appeared on several LA-area TV shows and opened for The Rolling Stones. She formed the all-female hard rock band BIRTHA that released two early 70s albums for ABC-Dunhill Records.
Rose won a Telly Award for a video retrospective look at her fascinating career as a background singer along side some of the most renowned recording artists of all time. Rosemary’s latest solo album, the critically acclaimed YOU JUST WATCH ME, was released in 2013 with the help of her friends Kenny Loggins and Jackson Browne. Rosemary currently performs a unique tribute show celebrating the music of her dear friend, Linda Ronstadt called "Rose Sings Ronstadt".

Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, Superbowl Pre-game show, Grammy Awards, No Nukes, The 911 Concert for New York, Clinton's Inaugural Ball, The Prince's Trust (The Royal Family), sang signature back-up vocal on Jackson Browne's "Running On Empty" and Bonnie Raitt's "Runaway" (that plays continuously at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame). Rosemary played bass, wrote songs, and sang with the all-girl band Birtha, that was signed to ABC Dunhill. They opened for The Rolling Stones and toured Europe opening for B.B. King. Birtha is in the Orange County Rock ‘n Roll Museum. Rosemary won a Telly Award for her compilation DVD called, "My Journey"(found on Rosemary Butler's Youtube Channel).
